From my base in sunny Santa Barbara (on the Central Coast of California), I work every day with motivated small business owners nationwide and internationally to create website content, brochures, ebooks, case studies, white papers and other marketing materials that help them create a marketing impact, attract more clients and make more money. 

How did it all start? 

As kid I was intensely curious...always asking WHY people did what they did, what triggered their actions...and that's one of the goals of marketing - triggering people to take action.  

Fast forward...
after almost 20 years in corporate Europe, split between England and Germany and ranging from the more traditional shipping industry to progressive hi-tech during its boom years of the 80s, I quit.  

I began my post-corporate life by completing an MA in Applied Psychology (University of Santa Monica).

The lucky combination of my training in psychology with the business knowledge and project management skills I'd acquired during my corporate career, turned out to be what many business owners needed: I began my entrpreneurial career as a Business Coach.

As an additional service, I began writing marketing materials for my clients too.

And today?

My work focuses on marketing and writing marketing materials, both of which are grounded in human behavior and motivation. Read samples of my work here. 

I've learned and continue to learn from some of the best marketers and copywriters in the business: Lorrie  Morgan-Ferrero of Red Hot Copy, Dan Kennedy, Steve Slaunwhite, John Carlton, Bob Bly, and the American Writers and Artists Institute.

On a more personal note

I still have the accent to prove that I grew up in Ireland. For those who are curious, my BA is in French, German and Economics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. I completed a postgraduate certificate in French at the Oxford Polytechnic College, in Oxford, England, and an MA in Applied Psychology at the University of Santa Monica in Santa Monica, California.
